My Story
I remember my childhood in bits and peices, but the one thing that stands out is I was always overweight. Yes I had happy times and loved my parents and family but most of those happy times centered around food. I can remember the words eat everything off of your plate, before you were allowed to go play or hang out with the other kids. So that's what I did the rest of my life finished everything on my plate rather I was full or not. This with all of the other bad habits lead to over eating and lack of exercise. In the past two years I have lost 100 pounds thanks to curves, I've changed my eating habits, and walk over two miles a day. To get me started a friend paid for me to start coming, that was a blessing from God. And the journey has continued, I still attend curves three times a week. I look forward to the next chapter in my life, at 48 years old which is a very hard age to lose weight, I feel the best I've ever felt. I will continue to lose weight and amaze myself everyday, sometimes I look in the mirror and can't believe it's me. I order a tee shirt from curves and want to order the same size I use to wear, and still am suprised when I can wear the smaller size. Now my outside matches how I feel outside, blessed, feeling good and looking my best.
