My Story
In just one month, I have made more progress with Curves than I have with any program because it is a totally SMART way to go. Since I started Curves Smart, I am really getting the workout I have always dreamed of and I deserve, because at last I have something to work for and know I will get there. Thanks Curves!
In one month and 15 days I have lost 14 pounds and things are really starting to happen; things that have never happened before. I'll explain my transformation.
I am almost 59, so I thought it wasn't possible to lose this fast and make this remarkable change in looks and attitude.
1. For the first month I lost 7.2 pounds and since then lost up to 14. I have lost 7.2 inches and 3.87 body fat, and can't wait to weigh in to see how much more.
2. This is how I did it. I work out every day that I can. Some days are not as hard a work out as others, but I really work hard.
3. I weigh every morning and 90 percent of the time I am down.
4. I love the Curves products, but I also love the Glaceu vitamin 10 water with only 3 grams sugar (25 calories for 20 ounces and all natural sugars). I drink three of these a day.
5. I started with 1200 calories the first week. Then the next 23 days 1500 calories. Then I jumped it up to 2000 calories for 1 week and gained 3 but lost it the next week when I went back down to 1500. The diet part really works!
6. I know the Curves Smart program works because before starting Curves I was on a well-known diet program and lost .6 of a pound. Then the next 4 weeks since I joined Curves I dropped 7.2 pounds. Well, there you go! It works.
7. I'm bringing in my friends who also enjoy it, giving them hope.
Curves has made a difference for the following reasons:
1. My energy has doubled and I can lift more things and have the energy to do so.
2. I dont have a desire for sweets, but I crave more protein and fresh fruit and vegetables.
3. Because of the workout, my body tells me what I need. One day I was working out and had no energy; so I stopped for a grilled chicken breast and I was fine; the energy picked up and the workout was great.
4. I no longer snack after dinner; maybe some popcorn and a piece of fruit if I am famished, but I don't feel at all deprived.
5. I can't wait to workout; it really relieves stress and gives me the confidence that I can make it.
6. My appearance and attitude is changing, and my husband likes and notices how I act, eat, and look.
My Goals:
1. I plan to have all my weight off by Spring 2010.
2. Even after I reach my goal, I will still continue Curves to keep my muscle mass; it's such an easy workout and I think even when I'm 90 I can do it if I keep it up now.
3. Curves is the light at the end of the tunnel, showing me the perfect body just waiting to get out.

P.S. With this month's weigh in I was 3.60 pounds down. I was really experimenting with the 2,000 calories and I have a 3 pound increase a couple of times, but when I dropped back down to the 1500 calories it came off. I really think the diet part is working. Although I know it won't work without the WORKOUT . . . thanks to curves.
I am now down 10.8 pounds, lost 6.19 body fat and 10.75 inches in just a little over 2 months.
