My Story
Being a Curves member since 2005 you can get yourself into a "workout rut" and that is exactly what happened to me until November 2008. I transferred to a Curves location closer to my job and made my plans to finally lose weight and get in shape. My first plan was that I would work out on my lunch break which would cause me to pack my lunch every day for work - something I NEVER did - that was plan two! I had never used the Curves Smart system before and being the skeptical person I am I decided to try it for a month without changing my diet to see if the Smart system would work - IT DID! To my surprise I lost 6 pounds the first month and I have not stopped since! I know using the Curves Smart system is what is helping me in my success plus the encouragement from Diane, Ruth Ann and Mike keeps me going. To date I have lost 34 pounds and our team came in second place for the Biggest Loser! My advice is to get yourself completely involved in any and all contests that your Curves has to offer and to use the Smart system for your workouts. You will amaze yourself - see less of you more often!
