My Story
I decided to check out Curves during their Open House. My blood pressure was high and I was out of breath when walking up the stairs. I tried the machines and learned about the program and decided this might be the right thing for me to do to lose the weight and get healthier. I joined Curves in August of 2008 and was exercising 6 times a week. I have lost a total of 25.25 inches; 32 pounds; and 3.6 % Body Fat in 10 months. I also started drinking 8 glasses of water a day and stopped eating fried food. I used to eat just once a day, which lowered my metabolism. Now I eat three meals a day, plus two snacks. I am having something to eat about every 3 " 4 hours. Curves helped me to feel better about myself and the staff is very concerned and friendly. Recently my father passed away unexpectedly from a brain stem stroke. I had been a caregiver for him for 11 years. Curves really helped me at that time through support and someone to talk to. Now I am getting back on track and am losing again. My goal is to lose 60 pounds. I am half way there! This was a good decision to make at this point in my life. Thanks to everyone at Curves
