My Story
The Curves Weight Management program, along with Curves Complete, has made a big difference in my life! I joined Curves in January of 2006. I have worked out regularly at Curves 3 times a week and also at home 2 to 3 times a week. My mistake was believing that since I worked out so often, I could eat whatever I wanted. The wake-up call was when I had not weighed & measured for 2 years. When I finally took the time to do it, I found that I had not lost any weight at all. I knew then that my eating habits had to change. I did not want to work out constantly and not lose any weight!
I have never dieted, so I was not sure I could do it, but the weight management program is so flexible and easy to follow. I went to the Phase 1 class in January 2009 and have been on the program since. Curves Complete has kept me honest and made planning meals a week at a time easy. The online program has a lot of weight & measurement charts, workout planning, good recipes, and is a great source for tracking your calories, fat, and carbs.
The staff at Curves is awesome. They are very supportive and always willing to listen to my questions and help me out. I have now lost 41 1/2 inches, 37 pounds, and 6.5% Body Fat and I feel great! I am at my goal weight now and have been on phase 3 for a month.
