My Story
I am a grandmother of six wonderful grandchildren. I was playing with four of the six at their home in CT. They have a treehouse with a rope ladder, and a slide. They asked me to follow them up into the treehouse. I could not climb the ladder and for sure I could not get down the slide.
Five years ago I joined Curves. I began exercising, and met some wonderful people. I then retired and moved to a new state. I continued my membership at Curves. I met many new and outstanding friends at my new Curves location. I continued exercising about three times per week. I've been doing this for more than five years.
Today when my grandchildren ask me to climb the rope ladder and follow them up to the tree house...I do just that! I'm enjoying renewed energy and agility.
