My Story
I have been a member of Curves of four years! When Curves opened right across from my job, I motivated a few of my co-workers to join. We all wanted to tone up, lose weight, and just permanently establish a healthy lifestyle. I started working out 4-5 days a week then eventually to 3 times a week. Exercise is now part of my routine! At the same time I am getting high intensity movement, I am also enjoying laughing, conversing and support of management, trainers and members. After 2 years of being a member, I turned to Weight Watchers to lose weight. Prior to Weight Watchers, I tried many diets, but none had stuck. After 8 months on the plan I lost 30 pounds. Today, I have now successfully maintained my weight loss. I could have not done it without Curves, staying focused and being persistent. I am finally proud of myself for upholding a healthy lifestyle.
As I say to others, you don't have to be perfect, just persistent!
