My Story
At the age of 27 I weighed 350 lbs! I was "big-boned", "from a big family" and "big since birth." I was crushed when I tried on the LARGEST size (28) at Lane Bryant and they did NOT fit!! How had this happened? At that very moment, I began my stead-fast resolve to change my life forever! In just 18 months Curves helped mold me so that my outside would match my inside! I began with a BMI that would not even register on the scale (over 50)...BUT I am now healthy, more confident, can walk up several flights of stairs without getting winded and have a BMI of 21.3! Did I mention that I lost 191 lbs and now wear a size 8? Thanks to Curves, my husband (who married me at 350 lbs) has a brand new wife and my future children will have a mother they can be proud of!
