My Story
For me,Curves means Hope-H for High Expectations, O for opportunity,P for perserverance, and E for exuberance all the things that come with CURVES.Since joining I have lost 60 inches in measurement-since I am 4ft.10 inches, that is more than my height. I've logged in 932 times to date-my Type 2 diabetes is under control, so much so that some of my medication has been
eliminated, and I've made many wonderful Curves buddies.
In addition to my Curves workouts, I am a volunteer for the White Haven Area Community Library, and a historical
re-enactor with the Eckley Players at Eckley Miner's
Village.Currently I am directing a tribute to the 1940s
war years in music and drama with the Eckley Players.
What CURVES has done for me is phenomenal-I am better
than I was-I'll never be small, but I like how I am going
forward-with hope and joy.And with the experience and
enthusiasm of our counselors, I am a winner in every way.

Particularly at 72 yrs. of age soon to be 73....
