My Story
I am at the beginnng of my journey with Curves. I have been changing my life and came to my weight goal in weight watcher 3 or 4 years ago, but slowly have been climbling up again. Losing is hard work and I give credit to anyone who does what it takes in a healthy way. It is even better if they can keep it off. I needed to step up my exercise and wanted to work with resistence exercise. I am loosing bone mass and want to rebuild as much as possiable. I wanted to do something I will continue all my life. In the past I have lost weight quickly exercising to much and on diets to low in calories. There are many ways to loose weight that don't last for the long hall. I wasn't consistent with the exersize and meeting with someone always benifited me, but my walking buddies keep moving away. Schegules don't always work with friends. I decided to try Curves and I love it. The trainers at our Curves are great and the women working out quickly become friends. The exercize machines are not complicated and after the first week I saw much improvement in my knee, ( which I had sergery on, and was limping on, expecially using my stairs). I can exercise on my schegule, and as that changes, I just drop in at a different time. I work better if I am weighed in weekly and Curves is great about doing that for me. It keeps me accountable. I am looking forward to taking the weight management class and hitting my goals again. One of my goals is to be at my best and not to yoyo with my weight any longer. I want to be active all my life making memories not sitting in a rocking chair looking at past ones. If that is to happen, it is really up to me, and Curves is going to help me get there. The great part is, I am having a great time doing it.
