My Story
I joined Curves in March 2004, after recovering from Total Knee Replacement surgery to my right knee. I exercised at Curves and over time lost 10 lbs. In Jan. 2006, I decided to get serious about losing wioeght and getting fit. i followed the 6 Week Weight Loss Program and lost 23lbs. and 14 3/4 inches. I continued to exercise faithfully at Curves at least 3 times per week and have lost a total of 40lbs. and 34 ins. I have been maintaining my weight now since 2007. I weigh in often before my workouts at Curves to keep on track. I feel I have more energy and my strength and movement in both knees has improved with exercise. It has increased the ligament and muscle strength around the knees. I plan to continue exercising at Curves as I enjoy the comraderie of the girls and I want to make sure I stay fit and healthy.
