My Story
I wanted to lose weight slowly! Wacky, right? Every successful coach has a game plan and I know ME better than anyone does. I know what works for me so that was and still is my game plan.
I'm also Louisiana born and raised and I love my Louisiana food...gumbo, red beans and rice, jamblaya, fried seafood, I love it all! I'm not going to give up my Louisiana food so I determined to manage it...not have it manage me.
It's all about portion control. I'm certainly eating LOTS LESS than I did before, but I'm still able to eat the foods I love and lose 1-2 pounds most months. It's also lots easier when I drink plenty of water and eat veggies. The problem is I don't really like either one, but I know they're good for me!
I love the new 22-pound-slimmer me! I've done this for me and me alone. I hope to lose 10-15 more pounds. With portion control and my 3-4 workouts at Curves, I'm set for a healthier, slimmer future!
