My Story
I joined Curves in October of 2005 because I wanted to get fit, and exercise would improve my health since my triglceride readings were climbing slightly each year. I started exercising on the circuit and found it was not boring as I had found previous attempts at exercise had been. There was a lot of encouragment from the staff and members on the circuit. My time after work did not allow me to get there however 3 times a week. In March of 2006 I decided to make exercise at Curves a priority and changed my hours at work to allow me to exercise first thing in the morning when the club opened at 6:30 am. This has really worked for me as I now exercise an average of 5 days a week. I did not join Curves to loss weight and I have not lost an appreciable amount, however I am healthier and my trigleride levels are down as well as my blood pressure is normal and I have not had to go on medication for either of them. Exercising at Curves is to thank for both of these results and I am very proud of myself for being able to achieve these goals with the help of Curves and the staff and friends I have met.
